How to set up Windows-based devices with Look DS
Many Windows-based devices are compatible with Look Digital Signage, including media players like Intel NUC, Azulle Access4, ASUS Mini PC PN Series, and Aopen DE3450S.
You can also use regular PCs, mini-PCs, tablets, or laptops.
This guide will walk you through how to quickly and easily install and run the Look Digital Signage Player on Windows 10/11.

How to Set up Windows-powered Devices with Look
1. Check your internet connection.
2. Prevent your device from going to sleep:
Open Windows Settings → System → Power & Sleep. Set both Display and Sleep options to Never.
3. Open any browser, go to the Downloads page, and download the Look Player for Windows to your device.
4. Press on the Look installation file icon.
5. Start the installation process. If Windows Defender shows a warning, click More Info → Run Anyway.

Choose the installation folder when prompted.

The path is written in the document: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\look-player-desktop\look-content-path.txt. To change the folder for the content and database, the path noted in this file should be changed, or the file should be deleted. In this case, a new path should be selected.

6. After installation, Look Player will start automatically and launch every time Windows boots up.
Pairing Media Device with Look CMS Account
You will see the 6-digit pairing code specific to your setup on your Windows-based device. Use this code to connect your device with your Look CMS account.

In Look CMS, click on the New Screen option located in the top right corner. In the modal window that appears, enter the 6-digit code, specify its name and time zone, and click the Add button.

How to close the Look Player app
Connect a keyboard to your device. Use the F11 button to minimize the Look player window, then press Alt + F4 to close the app.
On some tablets, you can swipe to close the app window.
How to uninstall the Look Player app
Go to Windows Settings → Apps. Find the Look app, click it, and press Uninstall.

After uninstalling, the app folder remains — remove it manually if needed.
