You may already know that the Look DS service is a multi-platform solution. This means you can use it with almost any digital signage hardware on the market, whether it's a consumer Android TV, a professional Philips display, the affordable Amazon Fire TV Stick, or an Intel Compute Stick. But what if your display's operating system is not yet supported, it does not have OS at all, or you need a versatile solution for a network of screens with different specifications?
That's where Look's reliable and affordable digital signage players come into play. These commercial-grade Plug'n'Play devices work straight out of the box, thanks to custom firmware. One of the main benefits of these players is the ease and speed with which they can be set up. Let's take a closer look at the process - whichever model you choose, the setup is the same.
Setting up Look Digital Signage Players
-Connect the player to the HDMI input on your screen, either directly or using the HDMI cable supplied, or, like in the video case, an HDMI extender.
-Connect the power supply. Select the desired source on the screen.
-Set up WiFi and receive a six-digit initialization code. In the case of an Ethernet connection, this code will appear immediately after the device is activated.
-To connect it to the system, we'll go to the Look personal account, click "add screen" and enter the initialization code. That's it!
Now let's send the first playlist to it. A couple of seconds and your content plays on your screen.
